Explore Thailand's Khao Yai National Park

Founded in 1962, Khao Yai was the first National Park, among the 127 others. It is located about 200 km from Bangkok, both the Pak Chong and the park are easily accessible from the Thai capital. It's a possible trip from Bangkok just for a day.

Many tourists visit the park for elephants, among the country's largest wild species. Other creatures to explore include bears,macaques, gibbons, pythons, guar, leopards and more.
